Reddit's Ads Content Understanding org turns Reddit content into structured signals used across the company. The Signals pod owns the company-wide knowledge graph — interpretable signals that feed both ad ranking and Reddit's RAG-powered surfaces. This role is the TL: mix of hands-on ML, infrastructure, and cross-team leadership.
What you'll do
- Tech-lead the Signals pod inside Ads Content Understanding
- Own the company-wide knowledge graph and the models that feed it
- Expand Reddit's commercial-intent understanding of its content
- Partner with adjacent teams on RAG products that depend on these signals
What they're looking for
- Staff-level ML engineering experience with TL or TLM background
- Strong production ML systems experience at scale
- Comfortable with both modeling work and leading technical direction
- US-based; East Coast hours are preferred but not required
