The Signals pod owns the company-wide knowledge graph — interpretable signals that feed both ad ranking and Reddit's RAG-powered surfaces. This role is the TL: mix of hands-on ML, infrastructure, and cross-team leadership.

What you'll do

  • Tech-lead the Signals pod inside Ads Content Understanding
  • Own the company-wide knowledge graph and the models that feed it
  • Expand Reddit's commercial-intent understanding of its content
  • Partner with adjacent teams on RAG products that depend on these signals

What they're looking for

  • Staff-level ML engineering experience with TL or TLM background
  • Strong production ML systems experience at scale
  • Comfortable with both modeling work and leading technical direction
