The product handles real student traffic at universities including the University of Illinois, Cornell, McMaster, and others. The team is investing heavily in LLM-based tooling — agents that help instructors generate questions, rubrics, and feedback.
What you'll do
- Build full-stack features across the assessment platform and its AI tooling layer
- Design and ship LLM agents that help instructors author and grade
- Contribute to a mature open-source codebase used by real students daily
- Collaborate with instructors and researchers driving the platform forward
What they're looking for
- Strong full-stack experience (Node.js/TypeScript, React, Postgres)
- Comfort working in a large open-source codebase
- Interest in building LLM-backed features with real users (not prototypes)
- Based in the US (the role is US-remote only)
